Celebrating TA100

Home « About The Pipers' Trail

This year, the British Army is commemorating 100 years of Territorial Army volunteer reserve service (TA100) along with the Reserve Forces and Cadet Associations (RFCA 100). Different celebrations are being held this year to heighten awareness of the Territorial Army’s contribution to delivering an important component of the Nation’s defence.

The Pipers' Trail forms a major part of the centenary celebrations for the TA 100 in Scotland.

The Trail is a major musical celebration, which aims to take forward the Army’s place in Scottish society, highlighting its values and standards and connecting them with local communities through a shared passion for music.
